12 paintings commissioned by Health Care at Home for their new cancer treatment clinic in Whiteladies Road , Bristol. Entitled Beacons the series was developed from navigational instruments , beacons,buoys and what are known as Navigational Pilots. These are books detailing all information needed for sea vessels as they negotiate unfamiliar waters or enter unknown harbours; always assisting in safe passage.
